I have a meeting with my FinAid advisor in thirteen hours. I think I might drop in on the admissions office depending on how the FinAid meeting goes. I've been trying to channel my psychosis into my book. I finished the revision of Diana's Garden, but that's about as far as I got. I think I'm going to change it from short stories and poems to essays and short stories. Or maybe just collected writings, have all sorts of shit in there. I have a few ideas for different essays kicking around in my head. One about racism, specifically how I lost my first real friend because I was white. The second on growing up in an abusive family. That one I think is going to be centered around two events, the night my father shoved my mother into a lamp, and the day I set their bedroom on fire. I need to finish something or I'm going to go insane. Oh, I finally saw the film adaption of Rent. It was pretty good.
